Morse Museum Partners with the Herbert Stampede to Bring New Temporary Exhibit: The History of Local Rodeo

The Morse Museum in conjunction with the Herbert Stampede Association, are pleased to announce that over the month of July, the Morse Museum will be home to a temporary exhibit sharing the history of local area rodeo. The exhibit will feature photos, documents, and stories of local rodeos and contestants. In addition, there will be interactive elements such as a roping dummy and a Cowboy Toy where you can try your hand at team roping.
The exhibit runs from July 2nd to August 3rd and will be displayed in the Bertha Wells Memorial People of Morse Room. The Morse Museum is ever grateful to the Herbert Stampede Association for rounding up these interesting artifacts. Be sure to take in the Herbert Stampede happening July 31st to the 2nd of August, 2026 and to stop by the Morse Museum and learn a little about the interesting rodeo history of Morse and District.
